About him

Rudolf Gallo

Born: January 21st, 1934

Passed on: February 1st, 2018

Gallo,Rudolf Josef - Born Jan 21,1934 in Germany, passed away peacefully Feb 01,2018. Rudy is survived by Loni his wife of 62 years, his sons, Rudy (Sandy) & Wolf (Debbie) and his 2 granddaughters, Heidi and Kristina (Chris) and 1 sister Waltraud of Bexbach Germany, as well as many nieces and nephews who also reside in Germany. Rudy was born in Germany and lived there until he was 26 years old, and then with his wife and small son immigrated to Edmonton Alberta, Canada. The Gallo Family lived in Edmonton for 8 years and from there in 1969 they moved to Surrey BC where they have lived since. Rudy had a love of music and of fishing, one of his favourite places to fish was Loon Lake BC. He was most proud of his 2 granddaughters and could be seen at many a dance recital and horse shows. One of the most important things Opa taught his granddaughters was to embrace and have great pride in their German Heritage . Calling my Opa home The last thing I wanted to do was say goodbye. But I'll know you're sill with me every time I look up to the sky. The way the stars shimmer, they'll remind me of your laugh. The way the sun shines, it'll remind me of my angel that has passed. I miss you so much. I can't wait to see you again someday. And I hope you know I'll never forget you.
